The students of Jayapriya Vidyalaya School won gold in the roll ball skating competition held at the South Indian level.
On September 20, students of Virudhachalam Jayapriya Vidyalaya Senior Secondary School won gold in the South Indian Roll Ball Skating Competition.
The South Indian Roll Ball Skating Competition took place on September 17 in the Thoothukudi district in Kovilpatti. Participants included rollball skaters from Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, and Pondicherry.
In this, Tamil Nadu players won by 3-2 in the final between Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu after winning against five state teams. Selvan, Ram Prasad, and Sri Hari played brilliantly and brought pride to Jayapriya Vidyalaya Group of Institutions by winning the gold medal and the South Indian level trophy.
The winning students of Jayapriya Vidyalaya Senior Secondary School were felicitated by Mr. C.R. Jayasankar, Founder and Chairman of Jayapriya Vidyalaya Group of Institutions, Director Mr. N. S. Dinesh, Principal of the School Smt. Sri Bala, Coordinator of Skill Training Mrs. Surya Kannan, Rollball Skating Coach Mr. Govindaraj, and other teachers who were very appreciative of the parents.
Roll ball skating is a very fast-paced and exciting sport. It is also a very physically demanding sport. The players need to be in good physical condition in order to compete at a high level.
