Students of Jayapriya Vidyalaya School who secured first place in national level Silambam competition.

On August 13, the students of Jayapriya Group of Institutions secured the top three positions in the national level Silambam competition held at Velankanni.

Every week, the Jayapriya Vidyalaya Group of Institutions provides unique skills training to students and competes in district, state, and national level sports tournaments. Ms. Sai Sri Yazhini, a student at Jayapriya Vidyalaya School in Neyveli, won the single-pole silambam competition for girls under the age of 13, and Ms. Priyadarshini made the school proud by winning the single-pole silambam competition in the under-12 category at the national level silambam competition held at Velankanni on Sunday, August 13.

Similarly, Adithya and Shyab Habil, students of Jayapriya Vidyalaya Thozhuthur Green Park International School, bagged the second place and Ram Prasath, a student of Jayapriya Vidyalaya Senior Secondary School, Virudhachalam bagged the third place in the single-pole silambam competition.

Mr. C.R. Jayasankar, Founder and Chairman of the Jayapriya Vidyalaya Group of Institutions, and the Director of the Jayapriya Vidyalaya Group of Institutions, N.S. Dinesh, congratulated the students who won the first three positions in the National Level Silambam Competition and made the school proud by winning the trophy. The entire school's principals, Surya Kannan, coordinator of individual skill trainings, teachers, and Silambam coach Mr. Prabhakaran expressed their gratitude and best wishes.
